Published by Chris Head on December 17, 2009
Gillingham will be hoping to improve on their impressive home record on Saturday as Stockport County make the long trip south to Priestfield Stadium.
The man charged with keeping control is Sussex based policeman, David Phillips.
Mr Phillips is in his second season as a League Referee whilst Kent Based Assistant Referee, Phillip Knight is in his debut season.
This will be Mr Phillips’ second appointment with the Gills. He decided to concentrate on refereeing after breaking his leg twice as a player within an eight month period.
