Griffin Park, home of table topping Brentford, is the next venue for Gillingham’s promotion push. Making the short trip from Essex will be referee Fred Graham.
The Stanford-le-Hope official decided to try refereeing after sustaining a bad injury whilst playing. His girlfriend’s Dad, also a referee, advised him to take the course and he began his career.
He has refereed the Gills on three previous occasions, all at Priestfield. The last one being the one-nil defeat to Colchester in the JPT Trophy last October.
