Another goal from World Cup 2006 in Germany, and this one was without doubt the high point of the tournament for England fans. The Three Lions looked laboured for most of the competition, but did manage to produce this moment of magic, courtesy of Chelsea star Joe Cole. I’ve found a couple of versions of this – the first one is the English television commentary from ITV’s Clive Tyldesley, and the second is an alternative, more neutral take on the goal, from the commentary team at ESPN in the US.
